annual plan could also be called a \u201cmany trips within a year\u201d plan, since it allows you to make as many trips of 8, 15 or 30 days and less as you want in a given year (depending on the option that you will choose).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This plan is offered to persons of 3 months to 85 years old, and provides coverage up to $5,000,000 in the event of a medical emergency happening while on a trip outside of your province or territory of residence.<\/li>\n<li>As a bonus, annual plans provide unlimited trip length if you travel in Canada! (This means that the 8, 15 or 30-day limit does not apply if you remain on this side of the border.)<\/li>\n<li>Coverage begins on the effective date (which usually coincides with the departure date of your first trip) and ends 365 days later. You can make as many trips as you want between those two dates, as long as each trip does not exceed 8, 15 or 30 days (depending on the option that you will choose).<\/li>\n<li>If a trip is longer, we can complement your coverage with a <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.tourmed.ca\/en\/travel-insurance\/plans-and-protections\/travel-insurance-for-individuals-per-trip-plan\/\">Per Trip plan<\/a> (a \u201ctop
